Leveling with stamped steel upper control arms

Recommended Posts

I’m looking to level my 2018 Sierra with stamped steel control arms. I want to install the ReadyLift 2.25 inch level kit. Do I need to replace the factory stamped steel control arms with new ReadyLift control arms? Or am I okay with keeping the factory arms? I don’t plan on doing any off-roading, heavy hauling, or trailering.

I run a 2.5" level. If you plan to use stock wheels it will rub pretty good on the control arms. I upgraded my control arms to address the rub and ball joint angle and it still rubbed but not as much. Eventually upgraded the wheels to clear.
