Preventive maintenance...

What is yalls take on preventive maintenance? I've got to replace knock sensors and while I'm under the intake I thought about replaceing the oil pressor sending unit and the cam position sensor since intake manifold gaskets are $80 a pop and I'm sitting on 115k miles...

If it isn't broke, don't fix it.  My 2002 has 195k on the original items you mentioned and all is well.  I did replace the intake gasket due to a leak.  Since then all is well. 

 

For the most part.  Change belts and plugs at 100k, do coolant flush at 5yr or 150k.  The rear and front diff are good items to change out early if purchased new and then again at 100k if running a good synthetic fluid.  Transfer case at 50k along with transmission filter/pan drop.   

 

Also power steering is another item that gets overlooked.  Brake fluid I change out when I replace brake pads.
