Memory seat not working on entry (might be Key Fob number issue)

Hi (2020 Suburban Premier)

I assume when i unlock the doors and get in then start the truck the seats should move back to the memory of the same key number?  mine do nothing, i have to hold the memory button to get the seats back in position (they exit ok though).

So this raises a question, how do i know which key fob number i am using, the manual goes on about doing a remote start and says the number on the dash, mine doesnt, just shows the millage.

While here, the mirrors do not fold in when locking either, i have to hold the lock button to have them fold in, should i need to do that?

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

My 2018 doesn’t show the key fob number unless I switch keys. So if I’m using 1 constantly, it won’t say until I start using 2.

Might be the same on the newer cars.

And yes, that is how the mirrors should work.

'Switch key' method is the only one I'm aware of to get it to tell you.

Either seat position can be set while either fob is in use.

Mirror memory is just the glass tilt.

Mirror autofold just enables/disables mirror control from the fob, so yes needing to gold the button is normal.

You have to have Auto Memory Recall enabled in order to have the settings recalled at startup.

To determine which key is which you'll need to start it with one, and then the other in order to get it too display driver #
