The image is the connector that plugs into B3 Body 2 connector at fuse box from fog light wiring harness.

Does anyone know the type of pin this is? I will need to remove an existing one at the B3 Body 2 connector

to install and need to get the removal tool on hand before I tear into it.

Thanks

The actual tool is J-38125-212.  You could also make do with a paper clip or two dental type picks and some patience.  Alternatively you could sever the existing circuit, and cut off the terminal in the fog light kit, the crimp the kit harness wire to the factory wire coming from the fuse block.

The wire shown will plug into the green body connector 2, pin B3. Instructions say if there is a connector present to remove and seal it. Thank you for giving me the tool number.

I have not yet confirmed if the BCM to under hood body connector 2 brown/white wire is already there or if I will need to run one. I'm just trying to have everything ready so there are no surprises. If the jumper is not installed, I will do as suggested and snip off terminal and reuse for green connector. I would just need a pin for the BCM

Well, I just confirmed that I do nor have the wire from the BCM to the under hood box and that harness wasn't supplied with the kit. Does anyone know if this single wire harness is available pre assembled? Easy enough to make but serious trouble finding correct pin to plug into the BCM and under hood box

If there is NO wire currently in the underhood fuse block you won't need to cut anything.  If there IS a wire there, it's easier to cut the wire in the truck and splice that harness you are holding to the end that goes into block instead of removing the one that's there just to install another one

Doesn't the other end of the wire you are holding have a length of brown wire and the small terminal for inside the truck on the other end of it?

If it does NOT have a smaller terminal on the other end then Wire #13582297 is a preterminated lead that will plug into the body control computer brown plug X5 position 10 as stated in the instructions.  You could then make your own harness.

The one I'm holding is from the fog light harness. I have confirmed there is not a terminal in B3 body connector which instructions say to remove if one is there, seal and plug in the one I am holding. The C3 body connector is also empty which would come from the BCM to under hood box.

The wire I'm holding is the only single wire to my harness, everything else plugs into fog lights and headlights

You have a lot of work ahead of you my friend. I just got done this project. Have fun removing that UEC (underhood electrical connector.) The instructions don't give you half the info you need to take that thing apart. Regarding your missing wire - it was supposed to come in the kit. I have one. I didn't need mine as I already had the wire from the BCM to the UEC. Don't waste your money on the tool. Two safety pins work fine. Hit me up in a PM and I will give you my cell and walk you through any help you need.

I am stuck here as well. New to all of this. I have everything connected, almost. Cannot get brown pin into brown bcm. Is there a trick? Do I need to remove something in order to install pin?

Also, how did you all get the wire to run up into the under hood electric connector? I will need to get both wires up here. Appreciate any help
