Dealer Compaints?

I have been going round and round with the service department and complaining to the managers and getting no where. Is there a regional contact department for illinois or another course of action?

when the local dealer gave me crap once i called the 800complain# in the owner manual and dealer called me back same day and told me i "won" the argument

I agree call the number in the back of service manual. I had 01 Silverado with 25K and problem that they couldn't fix. Called the number and got help.

I have used them with an issue on my new 03 tahoe.

 

Was an electrical problem that this particular service dept couldnt fix.

Ultimately, the issue was resolved however i was told that the steps in repairs if its beyond the dealer would be for them (the dealer) to call GM, then a local area tech rep would go to dealer, if that didnt remedy, a tech from Detroit would have supposedly come out.

 

the 800's number was good just to create paper trail, and also I was able to get a rental, and free service plan.

I had a pissing match with our local dealer and ended up writing a long letter to the president of GM (Gary Cowger) and copied the VPs of Service & Parts, Quality Control, and Powertrain. The quality control guy called me up a few days later and took care of everything- really nice guy. I'd be happy to give details offline if anyone wants to contact me ([email protected]).
