AFM screen 08 Silverado

2008 Silverado, 5.3, with AFM. Changing oil pressure sensor and not finding a filter/screen below the sensor. Owned this truck since new. Any possibility of it not having a filter / screen? Chevy service advisor tells me it has to be there. How far below the sensor threads would it be? Appreciate any help.
