While we're all having fun camping, racing, boozing, relaxing, picnicking, etc., let's all take a few minutes during the weekend to remember our fallen heroes.

The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and I think we should extend it to Policemen, Firemen and EMT's.

A multitude of  men and women have literally given their lives so that we all have the freedoms we enjoy every day. Our choice in homes, trucks, occupations, types of computers, washing machines, telephones, literally everything we enjoy day to day can be a directly attributed to the everyday people who are heroes, both living and deceased, just because they love our country and way of life so much that they are willing to give their lives to ensure that others enjoy the same.

Thank You

HOOAH!!

God Bless those in Uniform.  I look forward to being able to carry on the proud tradition of those who gave their lives in defense of this country.  Everything we have and all of the great privilages we have been given as Americans is because these brave men and women shed blood and gave everything they had to ensure our freedom.

Here's a short poem that I have always liked, cause it is so true, it is the soldiers, airmen, marines, sailors who have given us everything.

It is the Soldier,

not the reporter who has given us freedom of press

It is the Soldier,

not the poet who has given us freedom of speech

It is the Soldier,

not the campus organizer who gives us freedom to demonstrate

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,

who serves beneath the flag,

and whose coffin is draped by the flag,

who allows the protester to burn the flag.
