With the growing popularity of the GMC Sierra, AT4, Chevrolet Silverado and Z71 Trail Boss we have recently revamped our fitments for these vehicles to reflect more real world usage fitments.

TL;DR? Here's the summary:

  • We offer fitments for stock height, level lifted, 4" and 6" Lifts
  • We offer different fitment types for the Level Lifted applications ranging from Conservative, Moderate and Aggressive.
  • Our ReadyLift options will only show you options that clear the upper control arms.
  • We'll tell you how much each wheel sticks out so you have an estimation of what to expect.

We have obsessively been stocking the forums as well as facebook communities paying really close attention to what works and what doesn't. We have made several notes and have spoken directly to Sierra and Silverado owners to gather as much data as possible. In addition we have reached out to the wheel brands we distribute to get word on obstacles they've experienced and feedback as to what works and what doesn't. Lastly I have recently purchased an AT4 myself (not for testing purposes just fell in love with it through my research of fitments) and thru lifting my truck and increasing the tire height I have also learned it's limitations.

With all the data gathered we have revised our database to reflect the proper fitments for these trucks regardless if you're stock height, lifted, level lifted or level lifted with control arms. We also introduced three different fitment options for the level lifted trucks being  Conservative, Moderate and Aggressive. Our Conservative fitments are just that, conservative - these are straight bolt on packages with no trimming required while accommodating the biggest tire possible. Our Moderate fitments are for those who'd like a slightly taller tire than the conservative option and don't mind trimming. And our Aggressive fitments are for those who want to run negative offsets and wider set ups who also don't mind trimming.

In addition to these different fitment categories we'll also note within the product card an estimation of how much the wheel will stick out and if trimming is required (see sample below).

When searching for your truck, do note that the the trucks have been separated as follows Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 Trailboss, GMC Sierra and GMC Sierra AT4.

For the Silverado 1500 and the GMC Sierra we offer the below options:

For the Trailboss and AT4 we offer the below options:

Level Lifted Trucks:
If you're running a ReadyLift with Upper Control Arms, Make Sure you select the applicable ReadyLift your vehicle has as the offerings presented will clear the upper control arms. If you're running a regular Level Lift without Upper Control Arms and have no intentions on upgrading in the future you can select our Level Lift option as the options presented are a bit more aggressive as they don't have clearance constraints.

Caliper Clearance:
Caliper clearance is dependent on a couple different factors with the primary being the x-factor of the wheel design. As of 2019 most wheel manufacturers started designing with the caliper constraints in mind and most do clear the calipers. As far as older model wheels some do, some don't it's a hit or miss like mentioned previously it's dependent on the x-factor of the design. Another culprit of caliper obstruction are wheels with high offsets and deep dishes. Being we don't have the x-factor data of all wheels in a method we can sync with our website we're not able to not display wheels that may have issues. We do however cross check the orders that come in with the data we have from the manufacturers and check for clearance issues when processing the orders. Please do keep in mind we're relying on data on paper and don't have the truck physically in front of us to test, in the unlikely event one slips thru the cracks and you do incur an obstruction with calipers we'll provide spacers to you at no cost to you. If you're absolutely opposed to the idea of running spacers feel free to reach out to us before placing your order and advise us of your wheel of interest and we'll be happy to cross check the caliper clearance.

Tire Options Presented:
It's also important to note the tire sizes we recommend may differ from the tire sizes specified by the lift manufacturer. The reason for this is the lift manufacturers are making recommendations without considering the availability and or price of the size being requested. As an example there was one tire the lift manufacturer recommended that we looked up when putting together our data and the size only yielded 1 option, we ended up finding a comparable size 2 millimetres taller that yielded 14 options. The options we'll present are comparable to that of what they offer and confirmed to work. In some cases slightly wider or taller or narrower or smaller but never by much but for certain the size we'll present will be offered in all your favorite brands.

Please note our fitments are not the bible of fitments we're open to constructive criticism and suggestions. As a new Supporting Vendor we're excited to be part of the community and look forward to collaborating on some of your builds. We're also open to feedback in ways to make our data as accurate as possible to better serve you.

We offer Fast Free Shipping and full service Mounting, Balancing and TPMS ready to install set-ups. We also have a tire only size which is CheapTiresASAP where we sell most of the premium brands. In most cases I'm able to discount further off our published prices always PM me in advance for a discount code. Nice. Will check it out. I have a Silverado LTZ stock suspension. Does “Lifted 2 Inch Level Lift” mean it has a similar level kit but nothing else?  I’ve always understood there to be level kits and lifts kits but not sure what a “Lifted 2 Inch Level Lift” is. Thanks.

Hey CT, so in a nutshell a level lift is a lift kit however just for the front and for that reason we categorize it as a lift kit just mention the term level so it's familiar to our users. If indeed your truck is lifted, that is the option you'd want to select. Let me know if you have any further questions, here to help.

    • Because that is IDIOTIC, much like this question. They've already been forced to do it by past administrations - why would you roll that back when it's a GOOD thing?  WHO IS ARGUING FOR LOWER MILEAGE???? 😂  NOBODY IS!!   I'm certainly not! What I want is RELIABLE vehicles again that are worth the price paid!    I don't get your logic here ...   In 2003 I paid $2,200 for our '86 Grand Marquis. It's STILL running and I've never been inside the engine, aside for the timing cover since it was leaking, so I threw a new timing set in since that makes sense. Transmission is ORIGINAL. Electric pump in the gas tank is ORIGINAL. Rear end is ORIGINAL. I'd have to hit my head REAL hard to want to pay $60k or more for a car that still can't come close to the comfort, seating and storage space, or reliability of this one. Nothing is even in the ball park! Hundreds of thousands of brands and models have been built and sent to the crusher while this one keeps on going!   https://postimg.cc/Z9XRrCSg   I've got a whole fleet of cars, motorcycles, and a truck close to this age for summer and winter. No one could pay me enough to buy anything built this century. I have zero use for any it.
    • Since I'm the one who has to fix them when they break, I'll take vehicles over 30 years old all day, EVERY day, over ANY modern crap. Have you attempted any repairs on anything built after 2006? It's a friggin nightmare, and gets worse the newer the model year.    If I had the will or desire, I can make any car of any age outside of a Model T (I don't have THAT much will ...) just as powerful, comfortable, and have all the tech the new stuff does, and get pretty close in mileage, too. I prefer SIMPLICITY. The less the vehicle has, the less to fix WHEN it breaks, not IF.   I'm glad you snot-nosed punks don't like them. More for us, plus that keeps the prices from climbing more than they already have.👍
    • Bringing this thread back on topic. I just noticed the incredible lack of bright chrome across the entire new lineup. Even the Denali has tinted the brightwork in the grille and has none elsewhere. None of them have chrome bumpers. As far as I can tell there aren't even chrome mirror caps. I'm curious if this also happens out back? Are there no chrome rear bumpers either? This is quite the departure for GMC.
