Lunar Eclipse

It's cold here in PA tonight, but the skies are crystal clear and I watched the Lunar Eclipse. It was really cool and my 11 year old son enjoyed the "red" moon too...

I took some digital pics, but I haven't dumped them onto my hard-drive yet...

I'm no lunar/stellar nut, but I do like to look through the telescope from time to time, and I've always loved the sky, whether it was dark or light out...

I watched a little bit of the end of it, it looked pretty cool, we took some pics but they didn't turn out very good at all.

caught it for a few minutes down here with my telescope....it was pretty cool, when the shadows were just right it really brought out all the craters.

Had some folks over for a backyard bonfire & beers and watched in the cloudless sky. Awesome!

I watched the whole thing off & on. I spent the evening in the shop changing my friend's radiator, watching the Bruins, drinking beer, and drinking beer. It was in the teens here but it made for a very clear night to watch it- I walked outside every 15 mins or so. It was pretty cool, really.
