Just wondering if anyone has bought any products from IKEA (its a furniture store). Just wondering how their products were (quality)

I've never bough any major piece of furniture (couch, entertainment center, table, etc.) from them, but we go there all the time for other stuff....small tables, CD racks, house decoration stuff (the wife obviously...). Its cheap and trendy stuff that's basically disposable. Nothing has ever broken on us...if that's what you're asking.

 

I think the only problem we had was with some candles we bought there....gave off more smoke than a outdoor fire of wet brush.

My wife and I have shopped there in the past. The furniture is high quality (real wood, not the pressboard crap) and easy to assm. We currently have a few step stools, computer table, and coffee table from IKEA. Really nice stuff IMHO.

Been to one of their stores in Northern VA once.

 

 

I've heared bad things about them though, so I stay away from them.

Thanks guys. I found a nice bedroom set and dinng room set at wickes (plus i know someone who works there so i might get a discount). I like IKEAs small stuff like tables and a couch they have. I am still about a yr away from purchasing all this but I thought id start looking and see how much all this will cost (plus a house )

My kitchen table is from IKEA. I don't know about customer service or anything (got it from my sister) but the table is nice, and seems to be of pretty good quality...As far as functionality....It sure collects crap the way that kitchen tables are supposed to.

I went there once over the summer. Everything seemed really nice. There is also a lot of eye candy walking around in there too.

I know that "Monster House" gets alot of their stuff there...
