1500 miles now, had a 400 mile trip pulling 3200 pound utility trailer with 7000 pound load. driving on some hills in south Texas to flat land in Louisiana. So far the towing ability exceeded my expectations. Old truck was a 16 Duramax. The Duramax was stronger but the new SLT did a lot better than a 2002 6.0 I once owned. I drove the posted speed limit and got 10.2 MPG.
