Leather seat...rip repair?

Recommended Posts

I need to repair this seat...any suggestions on a method, or product?

As an aside, I used Mother's Back to Black on my tonneau cover.

Can you tell which sections I've done?

As far as the seat, unless you're looking for some kind of leather looking duct tape fix, I would take it to an upholstery shop, and at least get an estimate. With the stitching all frayed, it looks like to me that whole leather panel will need to be replaced.

Yup, I'm sure the upholsterer would do it right.

Call me crazy but I, on the other hand, was thinking of pinching it together...and using a clear super-leather-glue!
