Halo Boss Coilovers vs. Bilstein 6112

Hi all,

New to the forum but long time observer.  I am currently in the process of determining what lift/leveling kit to purchase for my 2017 GMC Sierra Z71 and I think I have narrowed my choices down to the Halo Boss Coilovers or the Bilstein 6112 Suspension kit.  My goal at this time is just level the front end and just replace the rear shocks.  So far I have come up with a list of pro's and con's for each and I am leaning more towards the Boss Coilovers but would like to hear from y'all if my thinking is correct or if there is anything else I should be considering.  I'll be running these with 275/70/18 KO2's.

Pros for the Boss Coilovers include:

-Adjustable

-Ready to install

-The ability to swap the oem's quickly if needed

-Customer service

Con's for the Boss Coilovers:

-Not a True 1-3" coilover (requires 2 1/2" bottom strut spacers to reach the full 3") although I do like the idea of backing the coil down and using a spacer to have a more relaxed spring rate.

-I've never been a fan of using spacers to acquire lift, the additional height without the added support does not seem like a good idea

Pros for the Bilstein 6112:

-The Bilstein reputation and industry experience

-No spacers required

Cons for the Bilstein 6112:

-Requires the oem top mount

-Requires a spring compressor

-I will not have the ability to quickly swap back to the oem's

-No adjustability once the snap ring is set and springs are compressed

-Springs would be set to the max spring rate possible

A coworker has been strongly suggesting the rancho quicklifts which is what he has run on his previous two silverados without issues but from everything I've read I don't think I want to go that route.

Any additional incite would be greatly appreciated and even other suggestions.  I'm hoping to make my decision within the next day or two.

I put freedom offroad struts up front and bilstein shocks in the back. Like it so far and the freedom offroad struts were about the same price as the rancho quick lifts. Advertised as factory spring rate just a longer body to give the lift. Running 33's no problems. 2015 1500

Yeah my coworker swears by the rancho quick lifts and I do like that fact that they would be several hundred dollars cheaper than what I'm currently planning on doing but from everything I've read the ride quality and build quality is not on pair on what rancho was doing 20 years ago.  My objective is to not only gain the additional clearance and improve my ride quality but I would like to eventually go to a total of 3" to 4" of total lift overtime (that's at least my initial thinking) and I feel like the bilstein or the boss coilovers would be my best option to proceed on that basis.
