Which output shaft seal?

Hi All,

 

The rear output shaft seal on my transfer case is leaking. I have tried looking for one online but there are a lot of different options and the descriptions dont help.

I have a 1999 tahoe, with the auto transfer case.

 

If anyone can provide me with a part number on rock auto or advance auto/autozone/napa, id be very grateful.

Rear; 4WD; New Process 241, 243 - 2nd Design

Rear; with New Process 243C Transfer Case; 2 Speed; with Part Time 4WD; Boot Type; with 1.500 IN Width

Based on the description the part fits both 241 and 243 transfer cases and it's the new 2nd design seal.

 

AC delco part number 15661460 is one part number. If you have RPO code NP8, you do not want this seal. If you don't have that RPO code this is the seal you need.
