Canyon Service Stabilitrak - No check Engine - No Power Steering Failure

bby rmsk

Question

Hi All,

Need a bit of help if you can,

Have a 2017 Canyon crew cab Duramax-

Service Stabilitrak was intermittent, but recently is popping on and staying on.

Have not had any other issues, with either starting, Power Steering, or Transmission 4x4 Control.

Pulled Codes:  got alot of communication errors,

cleared and re pulled a few times same codes come up.

U0077 - Comm errors

U0100 - PCM

U0101 - TCM

U0121 - ABS

U0131 - PSCM

U0151 - Restraint

U0415

Interestingly I get a C0196 - Yaw sensor, but i can't find a yaw sensor on the electrical diagrams.

There is a TSB that says check for frayed wires, checked in the area's noted Driver sill plate, passenger plate, under chassis, cant find a break, or tear.

found some things with Acadia and Sierra, not sure if similar with canyons

Any one had a similar issue?

Any other places to check, next up is the grounds  on the back near the Chassis Control, remove clean replace

Sorry Disregard,

Found the Issue, there was a harness that was touching the pulley for the A/C Compressor, at the underside of the cable.

It near cut through the blue yellow/ white twisted pair wire for the GM LAN.

fix:

Cut the line,

heat shrink on,

solder a join between the cut on the corresponding lines

re-wrap

pull the harness off any moving parts and zip tie
