New 2500 denali diesel Def warning less than 20 miles from leaving dealer

Just picked up a 2020 gmc denali 2500 6.6 diesel. Headed home about 15 miles outside of dealer my service def syst message popped up on dash along with check engine light. Stated ot wont go over 65 and listed how much def fluid left in tank. Any ideas? Known issue? This is my first diesel so it's all new to me. Well after further investigation I found this. Obviously something is not connected. Fluid leaked out all over undercarriage and driveway ridiculous for a $80k dollar truck2ad65b0cf4b4b88a24ec6b7246c7397a.jpg6601f15d54706b35249ff5ee1cfedece.jpg

Did you talk to the dealer yet?

Talked to dealer. Honestly this is something from the factory that was missed. I cannot blame the dealer for this issue but do blame GM for it. This isn't something that's on the dealers checklist prior to delivering a vehicle. It seems as if it was partially attached then came completely off at some point. I reattached hose. Dealer gladly offered to cover cost of new def fluid.

Good service from your dealer goes a long way. Glad you got it fixed and they're helping you out.

If you didn't already so so, grab a garden hose and was that stuff off the truck.

So after this debacle naturally check engine light came on. Inised a scanner to read the codes. First code was related to the def system. Second code p249c has something to do with powertrain I believe. I tried to clear them via the scanner. It said deleted but they are still there and light still on. I've tried multiple times. Now gotta take this truck with 70 miles on it to the shop already.
