thegrizz Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 As the title states, I am looking for the best 3" lift for the $. If all goes as planned the dealership will be getting my new 3.0 Duramax LT transferred from another dealer next week. Before I pick it up I want to have them install a lift and 285's with the stock 20's. I plan on trading this truck in once the warranty is up so I don't want to spend $$$ on this lift. IMO the 2" & leveling kits is not quite enough, but the 4" looks a bit too much. Realistically looking for a stance similar to a stock 2500. I was set on the Superlift but read that its more like 2" instead of 3". Anyone with this lift or any others that can chime in?
eppieguy Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 I've got the Rough Country 3" kit and it's been flawless for the last 12k miles. But I do think they discontinued that lift and are doing a 3.5" now, not sure why but again no complaints on the RC 3" on my 19 HC.
thegrizz Posted August 14, 2020 Author Posted August 14, 2020 Thanks for the input. Did you go with the strut spacers or the lifted strut on the RC? What size tires/rims are you running on the 3"? I have been looking at that lift in particular. I think 3.5" would be perfect. I will leave the 4" and up to the younger boys. Just want a poor mans version of a 2500.

I'm running 285-55/22"s on OEM wheels
