2020 Silverado Camera System

On my 2020 Silverado 2500 I have found a glitch on the rear view camera system to allow it to remain on while driving down the road.  This allows you to use the camera as a rear view mirror.  My truck is a work truck version with a towing package , power folding mirrors, 5th wheel bed set up , trailer brake control.  I only have the tailgate single camera and radio control unit is basic ( no satalite.  Try this : while driving forward , put shifter in nuetral , touch camera button , put the shifter back into drive.  The camera will stay on with no time limit.  The camera will shut off as normal if you change stations , volume , etc on the radio.  Let me know if it works for your 2020 Silverado trucks.   Thought I would share.  Please share your feedback. 20 Sierra SLT. I tried what you said today. Neutral press cam button back to drive and the timer starts for 8 seconds. Have you tried just pushing the button on yours? Did it start the timer?

While driving forward , put vechicle in neutral, then press camera icon on radio control unit , then vechicle back into drive.  No timer should display , but rear camera remains on indefinitely.
