Resonator Delete

I have a 6.2 2014 Silverado with a flow master Delta 10 muffler. I was wanting to cut the resonator off... is this going to make is significantly louder?

I'm also wondering the same thing, recently put a flowmaster super 40 on my 5.3 2017 Sierra, left the resonator on and its still pretty quiet. If they dampen the sound that much its coming off.

louder yes but not a huge difference.  With my headers and catless y pipe.  I put a magnaflow 12909 on.  I wanted it just alittle louder so I cut off my resonate and left it dumped over the rear axle.  It made it just slightly louder but better.

If I recall there are two resonators. My corsa sport removed both and I didn’t think it was loud at all during normal cruising.

However after I added my headers w cat less y-pipe I think I will be adding a resonator back in. Primarily because of the rasp between shifts during normal driving.....and the wtf looks I get from people.

Mine only had one resonator.  There are 3 cats,  So you could remove the third cat with out any problems.
