Jmac1403 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 So I had a 2” leveling kit installed this past Monday. Fast forward to today when I took it to America’s Tire for a set of Method 309’s (18/9 with a positive 18) along with BFG KO2’s (275/70/18). They called to tell me that the back of rim is making contact with the caliper, that’s my bad, I knew I should have ordered a zero offset. So they ordered me a new set. Now when I go to leave the shop, my truck has an error message stating ‘Brake Failure, Top Speed of 43 MPH’ I go inside and tell them and of course, not much they can do since they just do tires and wheels. I drove the truck to my work and noticed I have minimal brakes and hear a clicking behind the steering wheel when I apply the brake. Any thoughts as to what might have happened? Off to the dealership Monday morning. Thanks guys
Maven Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 First thing of top of head is they broke the pad wear sensor
