Tranny question

How many quarts will I need to add if I just pull the drain plug on the pan. Im getting a tad bit of slippage so I want to get some fresh fluid in there while im waiting for my shift kit (at that time I will change 100% of the fluid).....Is the fluid that comes from the factory synthetic?

 

Anybody with this tranny use the Transgo shift kit as well as other add-ons?

6 qts would do fine. What ever you have left over you can use with you install the shift kit. I understand from a friend who owns a transmission shop that Transco is a good product. Do a search on here and you will probably find a ton of info on it.
