Bed Swap

Hello, just curious if anyone knows which year beds will interchange. I’m looking at putting a new take off bed on an 06 Silverado 2500HD, 8’ bed

 

I know the beds changed in appearance over the years, and things like tail lights changed too. But what’s the newest bed I can buy that will bolt right up to the 06 frame?

06.  Things like length, width, and mounting bolt positions and fuel tank locations and such changed in 07 when the GMT-900 came out.  A bed from a 07 or newer will not fit on an 06 or older.

Thanks for the reply. I saw a pic of a newer bed on a pre 07 1500, but who knows what they did to make it fit. Oh well
