I cant find the schematics on line for either truck, I have re-pined the new one plug harness(03) with the female connector from from old harness(01) up at the fender. No Joy.... Nothing is easy anymore. It started going this way 24 model-years ago. Now we sit deep into the 21st Century, and things are only getting worse. That's par for the course.

You're going to have to get the original encoder back on there somehow, some way. If you can't make that work, you're going to have to rebuild and use your old t-case. GM set things up nicely ... for THEM. ?
