I currently have a 2020 Sierra SLT X31 and was wondering if I got the 2” GM Suspension Lift that is offered through GM installed, does my truck now become the same as the TB/AT4 in regards to the suspension? And if so, if I wanted to level the lift afterwards, would I need to get the leveling kit that is offered for the TB/AT4 with the new UCAs?

Yes and yes.

after you get the OEM lift kit installed you have effectively a Trail Boss / AT4 and when you're searching for additional items for it you will need to make sure that you buy the trail boss/ AT4 version

That’s good to know! My only thing with that is, I wasn’t really trying to go all that much larger (if at all) on tires and imo I feel that anything less than a 35” tire on a 6” lift looks kinda funny. How’s the ride with the “GM 2” lift?”

Honestly man, I’ve got an X31 SLT and I went with the AT4 lift.  If I could go back, I’d do the rough country 6” for the same cost.  It’s not that big a difference honestly.
Actually I've never compared those two but you're right the cost is very similar (assuming you don't live in Alaska where they charge $2,200 to install the kit) and both of them don't ride that well so.

If you hop into a trail boss it's literally exactly the same parts.
