Hi sharpie, I have a 2021 Silverado 3500 high country. It has the power up tail gate and I just bought the whole bed with multi pro tail gate off of a 2022 high country and gate is not working. Do you have any pictures of what you did to get yours working I’m not that good at wiring but can figure it out with pics.  Or anyway I can direct message you.

Did you end up getting a response? I’m in the same boat that you described and would love to hear any info you may have acquired

I just did a multi-pro swap for my 22 Silverado and it was relatively easy.  Luckily all of the wiring and relays were there for the minor gate.  For starters I cut the ground wire to the mid gate switch.  I needed to get 12V to this.  (I know I am talking ground and 12V, but stay with me here...)  At the Chassis side of the tailgate harness there is 12V Battery at Pin 1.  this was ran for trucks with the power up option.  My truck had the fuse and ckt already.  So I cut the lead out of the connector and ran a new wire up through the tailgate following the factor harness and connected it to the ground side of the pin on the minor gate switch.  The other end of the switch is the yellow lead that goes back to the BCM to signal the button was pressed.  Again I happen to have the minor gate relays and wiring on my standard gate LTZ, so I don't know what other trims it was also there. I needed to use this new 12V ckt I made to go direct to the two relays top drop the minor gate.  At the BCM I cut the Yellow switch wire (Pin X6-15) and connected it to relay outputs White/Gray (Pin X6-7) and Gray/Blue (Pin X7-7).  From the BCM this relay output was power to ground.  So by starting my switch at the 12V+ I just created a new ckt though the switch to the relays and down to GND.  I did pull the 30A endgate fuse while I was doing all this.  It all works!  The only downside is when the vehicle is locked, this ckt is still powered and will open upon press. I have the factory up fitter switches too, so I think I will use one of them as a disable possibly.  Should be really easy as the BCM is right below the upfitter switches.  The multipro I got was the same color truck but a GMC.  I still need to swap the emblems.  Waiting on a good sunny warm day to make that chore a little easier.

My question is do you splice into the X6-7 and X7-7 wires or do you cut and connect?  If you cut is the connection on the BCM side or the Aux Endgate Latch Relay?  Thanks in advance for the help.

@b marks did you end up trying that?  And did it work?  I’m in the same boat.  Bought the multipro tailgate for a heck of a deal and trying to make it work. Locking works, and so does video, remote dropping tailgate works as well, it’s just the smaller portion of the tailgate doesn’t drop at all.  Seems like my harness is definitely missing that pin

Is there an auto up function for the HDs? Doesn't seem to work on mine if so (or maybe I just dont know how to use it).

Standard gate, yes, multipro, no.

The power up/down option (QT6) is only available on silverado.

Both HD's can get EZ lift, which is different than power up/down.

Just got a multiflex for my 2023 Silverado RST.... plugged it in and everything worked but the small gate. Everything plugged but no play but it is an wasy swap and will fit to replace your regular tailgate. Took it to the dealership where they told me that my truck didn't come with that feature and it won't work... 🤦‍♂️ I am not sure to keep it and wait for a possible fix or harness or I have seen where a guy has tied up strings to each latch to manually unlock it. We need a fix soon as I am sure someone has have to done this.

I'm in the same boat, except neither the camera nor endgate are working for me, and was hoping for some confirmation before I started splicing wires.  What'd you end up doing?
