Camper Shell Brake Light Wiring

I picked up a radical deal on a A.R.E. Shell but now I need to wire in the brake light. The previous owner cut the wire but It looks like they had a two wire harness going to the tail light. Does anyone have a tail light wiring diagram that will tell me which wires I need to tap? Can anyone provide any suggestions on the easiest ways to wire this up? I did a search but didn’t find anything specific to the 2019/20 Silverado

I'd pick up one of these:

and use the brake lights wire from it. there are cheaper ways to get the brake signal, but this is plug and play, no splicing into the wiring.

That’s what I’m taking about. Pricey for sure but I’d rather not deal with splicing factory wires. Thanks!

A.R.E has a technical page with wiring information with pictures and pdf instructions. I found them for my 2014 Silverado.

Did you get this figured out for your truck cap? Having the same problem with mine camper shell, and it happens to be the same year and model.

Wondering if you found the wires needed or if you used the above suggestion to the Amazon harness? Thanks
