2020 factory start & Aftermarket alarm?

Looking to add some security to my 2020 AT4. It has remote start and I’ve linked Onstar and Cell phone connectivity. What is missing glass break, tilt, shock sensors. I’m primarily concerned with glass break as that is all the rage right now with teenagers in my city.

 

I talked to my local custom audio/alarm/starter shop that has done my work previously (Viper reseller). They tell me because there is a factory remote starter, it would set off the aftermarket alarm anytime I tried to use the factory remote start. - so that means I need to install a whole new alarm / starter / cellular kit, and ignore the factory one.

 

I prefer the integration of the factory unit, I just want the added security for at least glass break.

 

Anybody successfully install an aftermarket system without issues, or added sensors to the factory alarm on a 2020? Maybe viper won’t work, but compustar etc?
