Has anyone else had any issuses with AA in a 2020 Sierra. My previous phone was a Galaxy S10+, and AA would randomly disconnect. My new phone, Galaxy Note 20 ultra, does the same thing. I've tried at least 4 different cables. Samsung cable, Belkin, Anker, and some no name brand. All with same result.

AA just randomly disconnects while driving and parked. I've also tried all 4 usb ports. Both center console usb ports and the 2 on the dash. I did notice the ports on the dash disconnect from AA alot less than the center console ports. All my cables are 3 footers. Any input would be appreciated.

I doubt you're going to find any good info on this forum. I expressed similar frustrations a few months ago. I got a bunch of ridicule in return. I had the same problem. I have a Note 9. I ended up upgrading the radio so it has the factory navigation that is in the Sierra LTZ, High Country, and GMC Sierra Denali. When all was said and done, it cost $650, and 2 weeks of waiting, and about 2 hours of my time doing labor. MVi (www.gm-navigation.com) has the ability to upgrade the module for you if you have an IOS radio. After reading the information on their website I went with option #2 where I send them my module, they reprogram it and send it back, and then I reinstalled it. They gave me a loaner module so that my radio would continue to function. I like GM factory navigation more than Android Auto. It alerts me to school zones, known speed cameras, and I still have the ability to connect my phone to car via Bluetooth (which I wasn't able to do while running Android Auto). If you use Sirius XM you can also subscribe to the traffic package and it'll give you all the same alerts about traffic, possible does, etc that Android Auto gives you. If you're willing to spend the money, I think it's really worth it, but that my biased opinion.
