Hey Everyone,

So Tuesday I will be picking up my brand new '21 Elevation.  I've already been reading and watching YT on exhausts.  The question/poll I have for you is...muffler delete or catback (polished)?

After spending this much on a truck and this close to Christmas, I am not in the market for an expensive system but definitely need something to make the truck sound better.  Obviously the muffler delete is the cheapest so looking for some insights on that one and are there any negative effects on the engine doing this?  Also saw a video on wrapping the resonators with high-temp hvac tape...not sure if that really does anything and didn't have the chance to look at the '21 to see if it even had them...its a single exhaust.

Thanks all!!

Going to be a million answers here but the cheapest route without a lot of drone is to chop the muffler/leave the flapper(s).  I'm personally going the other route and removing the flapper and see how it sounds for now since I can do this in my garage.
