2018 2500 HD Duramax 20k mi.

I had the truck jacked up the other day for an oil change and noticed my wheel seemed loose when no load on the suspension.

I grabbed the tire at 12 o'clock and pushed/pulled and it definitely rattled.

Has this been an issue with these trucks? I did some searches in the forum. But didnt find anything. I do have Cognito UCA's installed but I dont think that would contribute to extra wear on the bearings. I'll likely take it in to see if I can get them warrantied but suspect I'll get ****** for the UCA.

Thoughts?

GM vehicles always eat bearings, just a matter of when. On a mass produced part it's very possible that a premature failure could happen. Having a lift with aftermarket wheels/tires will make the wear happen even faster.

Possible it may fall under warranty, you'll be the one to find out.

If possible find a set of Japanese made bearings from a Jap manufactuer if you can cross ref.  from GM part number

isuzu npr 4500HD's might work better
