I ordered the Haynes 01-06 full size truck manual on Amazon but I received the 99-01 version. My Yook is an 02... Will this thing work for me or should I return it? How much could be different between an 01 and 02?

In short, not much changed between the 01 and 02 yukons.

I'm very curious though about which book you got because I can't find a 99-01 yukon/tahoe/silverado/sierra Haynes manual online. I have a copy of the 99-06 book. Could you take a picture of the cover or the ISBN#?

I have an 02 and there are some slight differences. Mostly in electrical components from what I can tell or have discovered so far, but again very slight. One example is the PCM version is different but still would work on either if flashed.

Personally, the Haynes manual is garbage IMO. I prefer the Mitchell guides.

It's subscription based but I paid for a year for like $30 or $40 and just downloaded everything in PDF. I can't stress enough how well worth the money it is. Its basically a factory service manual with everything you'd ever need.

The cover is identical to the 99-06 cover, and the ISBN is 1-56392-446-3. I like Haynes because I feel like it caters to the amateur. I can fix things but I am not a master mechanic.

But I may check out Mitchell's; thanks.
