I purchased 2020 Sierra 1500 last year and couldn't stand bose so had the bose speakers and amp replaced, installer placed a NAV-TV Zen AVB-GM module to a half decent amp and speakers, when it works its great.

This is the second time there is absolutely no sound, none, no indicators clicks, even the park assist doesn't work. I took it to my installer and he did something and got it going again, here I am few months later and again no sound.

Last time he didn't tell me what he did, simply said bring it back to me. I tried pulling the amp fuse in the hopes it will reset but no luck. I can call my installer again, but considering I have to drop my vehicle for a day, its not the best solution. Further, its been over a year and who knows he asks for more dough this time.

Anyone know whats going on here?

I have the same problem, I sent it back to Nav-TV for them to fix it, it still has the same problem, now I see on there websight that its no longer avalible and that is it is currently under re-development, and will be available in the near future.

Thought spent some time figuring this out, turns out the installer wired the nav avb-gm straight to the battery, so pulling the original bose amp fuse did nothing.

As I opened the hood, I saw a guage 1 or 2 wire typical of what intallers use wired directly to the battery via a fuse. I pulled the fuse and reconnected it after a few seconds and bham, have sound again.

I don't like this reset stuff but it sure beats going to the installer.

Looking at AVB-GM install guide, it does say that "12v and ground" should be wired with the amp to reduce noise. This just means the module never ever shuts down being wired straight to battery.
