Exhaust mods to the 8.1L

I was reading the posts on the 6.0 thread and was wondering what has been done with the 8.1L?

here's what i have done to mine. dual flowmasters. offset in, center out. i think they are 40 series. they are delta flow. i have an '01 2500 HD w/the 6 speed ZF.

If anyone on here has added the The Other Guys (TOG) headers to their 8.1, could you please post your experience with the product. Quality, ease of install, performance, noise, etc. As far as I can tell this header setup is about the only high quality, long tube product for the 8.1 until Banks gets the act in gear. Thanks guys.

I run TOG headers on both of my trucks. Some cutting and welding is required for the install. Very good fit and excellent quality. I'm currently running the stock catbacks but plan on replacing those with something from Corsa as soon as they are available.

I'm running TOG's on my 8.1 and agree with everthing Tom has stated above, as far as noise, with factory cat-back they are barely noticeable, I also added Flowmasters cat-back set-up for my HD, absolutely love it, once broken in it is alittle louder than I expected, but cruising on the highway it provides a slight rumble, makes the 8.1 sound like a 8.1 now
