Convex Portion of Trailering Mirrors

Thought I would ask before I break something.  Does the convex (lower) portion of the OEM trailering mirrors adjust up and down?  I can move them left and right, but they don't seem to move up and down.  I wish they would to better see what I want to see.  Anyway, scared to push any harder without knowing for sure if they are supposed to move up and down.

Mine do you just have to push firmly.

Yesss, lots of popping and cracking but they did break loose and move.

They do move. I found the drivers side did not adjust high enough to be useful for me.

Yes - I actually like mine pointed so I can see the rear tires so I know how close to the curb I am when I go thru a tight drive thru
