Chrome plated "4x4" emblem

Im looking for a nice "4x4" emblem to place on my Trailblazer. To be honest Im gettting tired of people asking me if it is 4 wheel or 2 wheel drive. Since the 2 wheel drive looks just like the 4x4.

 

Any emblem would work as long as it is chrome plated.

are you talking about a 4x4 emblem for the side?  I would check out http://www.decalking.com and seeing what they have for 4x4 designs.  If you like one I'm sure brent could make you one in chrome.

What about buying a set that go on the Jeep Grand Cherokees ?  They are chrome and pretty good looking.

Yes I did post the same question under the compact group, and I did see your reply, gmcjoe and thank you very much

 

I was originally looking for the plastic chrome emblem that would go on the back hatch.  Maybe a jeep dealer would have them (good idea DuckHunter)

 

Do you think decal king could make a nice looking decal to use on the hatch instead (Decal King, you there?).  That would fine as long as it blends in with the factory Chevrolet and Trailblazer emblems.

 

What do you guys think would look best?

Going along with DuckhunterInTN, you should be able to find some actual emblems, even from other manufactures.

 

Here's one of my friends 2002 Dodge Ram.  The 4X4 emblem (not a decal) on it is nice looking, IMO.

 

I've seen other vehicles with good looking emblems too, but can't remember what.  ???

 

Take a look around all the dealer lots in your area.  You may find one you like there, and can then just order one from their parts department.

Another option is the 4X4 emblem off of a Dodge Durango.  Similar to the Ram's, but smaller (I think) and a little "smoother" looking.  If I remember correctly, the one on the Ram is kind of blocky/3-D looking.

The '91 S-10 4X4's (Baja model included) had a 4X4 emblem on the cab, where the LS/LT emblems are on the current style trucks.  The "4's" were red, and the "X" was chrome.
