Swapping 2008 LS system into 1955 chev

I have a 2008 GMC Savanna van with LY6 and 4l80e drive train with all electrical components which I'm swapping into a 1955 chevy. My question is which circuits can be removed from the BCM if I only want the cruise control to function. I do have the pin out connector info for the 7 plug ins to the bcm.

I’m beginning my chassis/engine swap from a 2003 Silverado to a 55.2 3100 truck. I am very interested in your project, the problems, the pitfalls and the successes. Have you documented your journey and where can someone view your version.

I haven't started on the engine install yet, still trying to sort out the computer module systems. Hope to modify the stock wiring harness, just need to know what circuits are absolutely required and which can safely be deleted.
