I just installed headers on my 6.0, and cut out the cats. Do I need to have the truck programmed before I can drive it? Thanks

It can be driven but it's going to start throwing a bunch of lights pretty quick. You'll get rear o2 sensor codes and P0420/0430 codes for not having the cats there.

A tune is a must sooner than later. Fuel mileage is also likely to decrease from the cat tests that will be performed once it figures out something is wrong.

Finding a tuner is getting difficult with the EPA going after companies who openly advertised.
