Welcome to the site.

Yikes, sounds like someone had a "grand plan" and ran out of money, so now you have a Frankenstein front end.

I would take it to a shop you trust, and have them tell you exactly what you have for parts, and what new parts you need to complete the job.

Thank you,

im doing the alignment. With several options for parts for the front end I dont know all the particulars.
From what I have read so far the forged steel UCA are different than the

cast aluminum and stamped steel.

Will dig into it on tuesday.

I have aligned several “leveling” mods with plenty of adjustment left.

Im maxed out. So my thoughts are the forged steel are different lengths/angles or maybe the spindle/knuckle had a different geometry?

With all the GMs I have done for ORM repairs

aluminum is replaced with aluminum

forged with forged

stamped with stamped

I still would like to figure out if correct parts are installed.

Maybe someone can answer the question of

Can a OEM cast aluminum UCA be replaced with a OEM forged UCA?

Any chance you've got a picture or could take one of what you have on the truck?

OEM Aluminum UCAs can't be replaced with OEM forged UCA.  The OEM aluminum can be replaced and are even superseded by GM to the stamped UCA found on 2016-2018 trucks.

Also, do you mean RPO code RC7?  R7C is just a sales code.  RC7 would be 275/55R20 Goodyear Tires.

I do seem to recall seeing trucks with aluminum lowers and forged uppers before.  I know they did this on GMT-900 and I believe early K2XX.

RPO option came up on the alignment machine

so I figured it might have some useful info.
No pictures, came across the problem late friday. Will deal with Tuesday.

forged steel might not be the correct replacement but they will definitely mount up. Fun stuff
