It depends. Is the truck stock height, leveled, or lifted?

I have a 2-1/2" level with 295/55/20 tires, and they were close on the factory wheels. They rubbed on my Kryptonite UCAs so I "HAD" to get new wheels.

If you're stock height, you can run a 275/65/20, 285/60/20 or 295/55/20. If you're leveled or willing to trim a little, you can run a 285/65/20, 295/60/20, or 305/55/20. Those are all based on the presumption that you're running stock rims. With aftermarket rims, that changes things.

Thank you, Big Whiskey!

You're welcome. Some members are also running 35x12.50x20 or 295/65/20 on stock rims with a leveling kit, but that seems to be the limit. Those sizes will also rub at stock height, for sure.

I bought a 2019 2500 HD with some sort of minor lift, not sure how much.  It has 265/60/20s (stock tire and damn they are small...).  Front fender is 41" and rear is 43" at the wheel centerline.   Looking at 35x12.5's. Hopefully no rubbing. Anyone have the stock height on same tire to see how much lift it has? It has RC upper control arms and RC shocks front and rear but they seem worn out already.

Thank you very much. A few participants are also using 35x12. The only options seem to be 50x20 or 295/65/20 on stock rims with a leveling kit. Such sizes will undoubtedly rub at stock height.
