Hi

I'm starting to get crazy. I have a 2003 Tahoe where I replaced the rear transfer case housing because of the pump rub issue. I also fit the kit to stop this from happening again.

Since then, the rear output shaft seal leaks. But it's not the seal itself, it leaks between seal and housing. I replaced it several times now. Tried different manufacturers, tried it with rtv and without rtv. The bearing is new. I also replaced the slip yoke.

I'm out of ideas. It seems that the leak comes from the top between the seal and the housing.

How can I get this transfer case to stop leaking?
