I tried to order the advanced trailering package and TPMS for a new build but the system wouldn't accept it. Is there anyway to add something similar aftermarket. I'd like to have temp and pressure on my two trailers as we travel from Canada to SC or FLA a few times a year.

There are TPMS systems for trailers from the aftermarket but they don't integrate into the truck's systems.  The aftermarket units require a standalone screen to monitor tire pressures.  Reviews I've seen are favorable but the extra display unit is the drawback.  Where to put it is the question?

Yes, I looked at Bellacorp and was impressed until I saw the disclaimer that you had to install a repeater which they don't show you in the video.

Not a big deal but not advising that it is required it gives me pause.

Any suggestions from folks that have them would be appreciated .

Thanks

I have a TST system that came with my Rockwood travel trailer and I have been very happy with it so far. Only downsides are the remote display instead of integrated into the truck, to replace batteries in the sensor you have to remove the tire, although they may last just as long as the tires, and it does require a repeater, but I don’t know if you could get any system to work well without a repeater. I think even the new trucks have a repeater for the GM TPMS systems but it’s already installed at the rear of the truck.

Hi, thanks for the reply. When I ordered the truck the order system would not take the advanced trailering package.

So im trying to find an aftermarket system that i don't have to replace valves.

I'm good with a repeater I just didn't like that the company neglected to say it in their ad, so I found it a little shady.
