Backup Camera Problems - 2011 sierra

Looks like i have an aftermarket review mirror camera on my 2011 sierra 1500 SLE ext 4x4.

roughly 6 months ago the camera stopped working, the screen will flash on for 1 second then disappear and the green blinking light will begin on my mirror indicating problem with the camera.

I was checking the wire lines and found some splice spots for the camera, i have no knowledge of these camera splice kits and was wondering if they are something that need replaced, maybe have a loose wire or something?
Does anyone have knowledge on identifying failed cameras. I find it odd that it will give me a 1 second view of the backup camera then it fuzzes out.

I checked fuses and all look good. Prefer to check easier things before i start pulling the wire out and replacing the camera and all.

I have never heard of this place either, it at first glance it appears they are offering parts of the wire harness for various safety systems that might have had a failure so they use wires that the OEM used so you don't need a pin out, that's the cool part about it.
