I have an issue that has not been able to be diagnosed.  Sometimes when i enter my truck to start it and push the brake and the start button nothing happens.  Sometimes the DIC will hae the "Remote Learn pending" message.  If i leave the truck for 10+ minutes and repeat the start process it will start up like normal.  Dealer says they can't duplicate the issue which i find hard to beleive but thats their story.  Hope someone has seen this and can help out.

Did you ever get this issue resolved? Mine did the same thing today. I disconnected battery n reconnected, it started but my running boards are not working.

Sorry to say NO!!  Lucky for me it was still under warranty and has now found a new home with another dealer.  Good Luck!  I wish i had a better answer.

Anyone find a fix for this? I have been having the same issue. My battery has also been going dead overnight occasionally. The dealer seems to think it has to do with bad window switches that have been recently redesigned. Hopefully it fixes the problem, very strange.

Did you have your window switch replaced?  Did that solve the issue.  We have been having the same issue for 9 months.  We had the entire computer replaced and we're good for 5 months and it reoccurring. They told us it could be the window switch but no promises.   We can't pay $1k to try if it doesn't work oh well.

Read the TSB in the link above.  Three points where communication can drop out, bad window switch, bad door latch or wiring on the circuit itself (door harness issue).

Did anyone find a solution? Did replacing the window switch fix the issue

i have a 2019 gmc sierra and around every 7 days the push start won’t work. The remote start works but I can’t access the truck when it’s on. It won’t let me turn it off with the push start either.

i replaced the ground connect for 800$ and that didn’t do the trick.

any suggestions?

Have you connected with your GM dealer, Mitchell? If not, we would like to. Please email us at [email protected] with your full VIN, along with your zip code and we can take a look. By sending us a message, you consent to the information you provide being monitored and recorded by GM or those acting on GM’s behalf, subject to the GM Privacy Statement: https://www.gm.com/privacy-statement.

If anyone is still experiencing this, GM has figured it out and I just got my truck fixed.  It's the Driver's side Switch and/or Latch.  Basically, one of them is interpreting incoming signals wrong and thinking the key was turned 5 times causing the truck to enter the key fob learning mode.
