Navigation screen

How can I get my navigation screen to always display like this?  It only stays in this mode when I get a text and I hit read and then go back to my map.  I like this look better than the normal default full screen map when in Nav mode.

Believe it’s a menu setting. There are a few vies you can set it as.

I haven't noticed this.  Have you done it in yours?

well I looked in the infotainment book and found I had "audio information" off in the map appearance.  I turned it on and it shows the XM station and song name.  Still not the top for circles audio, phone, nav, text or the bottom tool bar.  Anyone have a clue?  2018 Sierra.
