6.0 ls from van into 2500hd pickup

i just got the truck and realized the motor that got swapped into it is from a van. is there any changes i need to make or should it be plug and play? ive read maybe an ecu flash or maybe a different harness. any help is appreciated.

No it is plug and play. The van possibly had a different size camshaft than stock but you won't know unless you took it apart. You'll be fine though.

If both are LQ4's, they are the same in every aspect.

 

The early vans up to 2005ish ran a cable throttle body still but that little stuff doesn't matter because you have to use your DBW throttle body anyway.
