2020 silverado infotainment reset

Recently purchased 2020 Silverado LT. Should I reset infotainment system to factory settings to remove previous owners settings,info.,etc?

Would there be any negative issues with doing this?

Welcome to the site.

 

Factory reset will do just that, reset everything, but it is just radio and convenience features, nothing to really do with the truck.

 

If it were me, I would go through the menus, see what is there, make notes, then reset. If you do not like something, after the reset, you can reference how it was before and set it up that way again.
