Hi all.

I got this message IMMEDIATELY after I drove through a deep puddle.

I have a service appointment this coming Thursday and would like to avoid going.

Is there a quick and simple fix for this?

I went to the service dept right after the warning lights went on. The service writer tried to reset the code but wasn't able to.

I don't know how something like this can happen by driving through a puddle.

Thanks in advance for any help or input.

The way to avoid going is not drive into puddles.

No but seriously just go, I am assuming something go in the tank or cracked it or something somehow. Also it could just be a coincidence.

Possible connection in the DEF system not water in it.  Might not have been weather tight.

I'm at a different dealer currently as I'm waiting for the tech to show up to work.

Service writer I visited yesterday didn't inspire much confidence in me.
