i have successfully reprogrammed the original key fob that had just stopped working suddenly. after programmed it i tested it and it works fine but only if sitting in driver seat but if get out of truck and close the door the fob doesn't work. need to know if can help with this issue or if can't be fixed will it be issues if install aftermarket alarm system

already put new battery in it and tried few times to reprogram but still only works if sitting in driver seat, once get out of truck no longer works
