Block heater

2015 1500 Silverado LTZ 5.2 8spd 4x4. I’m not sure where or if my truck has an engine block heater.

Check for the plug by the fuse block and PCM on the drivers side of the engine bay. The block heater itself would be screwed into the block below the drivers side exhaust manifold and that is where the wiring would be coming from.

 

I think the RPO code K05 in the glove box would show if it was a factory installed option.
