Can't answer/end calls over Bluetooth?

I've got a 2020 GMC Sierra SLT and an iPhone 11 Pro.  When I get a call while I'm in my truck, hitting "answer" (either on the touchscreen or steering wheel) doesn't answer the call.  Sometimes it actually rejects the call.  I can answer the call if I'm in CarPlay, or if I actually press the answer button on my phone.  When I go to end the call, neither "end call" button (again, steering wheel and touchscreen) actually ends the call.  Again, it works properly in CarPlay, and it works if I end the call on my phone.  Hope that makes sense.

 

I looked around a bit and didn't see anyone with a similar problem.  Anyone encounter this?
